Requiem for a beauty now withered
A Threnody that should be heard:
Once kind, powerful, strong and wise
His vision got clouded by a mist of lies

Looking at his palms he only sees scars
Where once they glittered under the stars
Enclosing in darkness a heart so pure
Bleeding with sorrow, longing for cure

“Fallen”, said he
Devoid of light and empty
“With clipped wings I try to desperately see
The Paradise where I was meant to be”

Tears fall, tainting the surrounding earth
A fallen seed gave rise to an evil birth
Sacrificial blood turned to endless thirst
The beloved ruler, is now the cursed

Kingdom of love turned kingdom of desire
Emotions that nourish this dark vampire
Watching over evil in this valley of death,
Waiting for the moment to unleash his wraith

Reveal the secrets that will forever char.
The beauty of evil will conceal the scar
The pure skies shall weep endless rain
Into this bleak world full of pain

Ruler of sorrow ruler of hate,
How tragic is this darkest fate
Ruler of tears ruler of cries
Whom has fallen from the skies!
