She sat across Dr Symonds as she did every other Friday morning. Half dazed she answered the doctor’s questions: "So how long have you had this dream?” She stared outside the window at the swaying branches that almost reached out to her. "Oh... it happens to me every other day… he comes at night whispering in my ear. His touch is cold yet sensual... but it’s too vivid to be a dream". The doctor jotted down a few words and replied: "Of course it’s just a dream; certain dreams appear to be vivid and real, it is quite a common occurrence." The doctor kept on asking questions until the hour had passed. When the time was up, she left the room lost in her thoughts: almost accepting what the doctor had said yet a part of her wished he was wrong.

Suddenly in the middle of the night she saw a dark figure almost hovering above her. In a smooth charming voice he whispered to her: "Tonight you'll leave this horrid place forever!” He then kissed her on her neck and as sudden as he had appeared he was gone, vanished in the surrounding darkness. She dismissed it as a dream and continued to sleep. She woke up just a few moments later and placed her hand over her neck, it felt moist. She thought it was sweat yet as she brought her pale hand in front of her eyes she could see that it covered in red. With a jolt she sat up and looked at her sheets noticing the huge crimson stain that stood out. She lies back down with a smile on her face falling into a deep sleep… a sleep from which she will not awaken!

I really like this one! It is a bit frightening yet so sensual and it has the perfect end...
